Customer Reviews

 Comments:
I had a terrible experience previously with an air duct cleaning company. Air Duct Pros helped me to document the problems and get my money back from a service that was so sloppy that their work led to a vent fire (no damage, thankfully, just smoke and an unpleasant four a.m. wake-up call from the fire alarm). Air Duct Pros are consummate professionals who do the job right and are passionately interested in doing the right thing!

Our single system had never been cleaned in 46 years. I knew the return ducts were bad, but was not prepared to see the supply side and how dirty it was. I have supplied photos but forgot to photograph inside the supply duct prior to cleaning. We had our furnace ducts cleaned and chose to have them sanitized as well. We are having our furnace replaced next week so the quick response for cleaning was appreciated. I personally washed all 24 vents with 409. Normally the cleaners would have vacuumed the vents but due my doing much of our maintenance work I chose to do the vents myself.

 Comments:
Air Duct Pros were very responsive. They called shortly before they were due to arrive to let us know they were in route. They scoped out the job and worked continually for over two and one half hours. Their equipment was in excellent condition and I personally inspected all sections as they were completed. I was shocked at how dirty the supply side was. I had looked inside of the supply side at the furnace before while I was cleaning the air conditioner coil so I thought the supply duct was fairly clean. Not so as was clearly visable when Duane cut the access hole and I looked at the yuck. The rotating brush did an outstanding of loosening the dirt etc and the strong vacuum they placed out side created almost a wind tunnel effect to suck the dust and dirt out. They replaced all of the vents and cleaned up any and all mess. The odor from the sanitizer disapated after we turned the heat on to dry the system.

Comments:
They were very efficient. They were in and out very quickly. They did what I asked them to do. They left the house in good order when they left. They were fabulous.

 Comments:
They came on time, did a good job, and they gave me good information about how long it would take to complete the project. It took about two hours. They were friendly and business like in doing the work.

 Comments:
I called Air Duct Pros and scheduled them to come out to clean my air ducts. They had to change the schedule but said they would reduce the cost by $25 for the inconvenience, which I thought was nice. They came the next day right when they said they would. Dwayne and Josh did a great job. They explained everything they were doing and were polite and friendly. Their equipment seems to be of good quality. They brought a large machine in through my basement, which is where the furnace is. Josh went and opened up all the vents for one section and blocked the air flow of each with pieces of foam. Dwayne then had the machine suck out all the dirt, while they went and pushed the debris through the vents with a snake-like tool with a brush on the end. After finishing that section they moved to the next. I was glad I was home and paying attention so I could point out all the upstairs vents to Josh. It was easy to miss a few because of their placement. If they don't have all the vents blocked then the suction is not as good. I thought they did a very good job for a reasonable price. Dwayne showed me the dirt in one of the vents before and after he cleaned it. They honored their discount through Angie's list. Dwayne suggested I use the sanitation which I wasn't going to do but then decided it may help with my daughter's allergies

Comments:
I thought they were very professional and that they did a very speedy job. I would hire them again.
The technicians arrived on time and immediately got to work. They checked my furnace and then described what they recommended to have done. As soon as we agreed to the recommendations they proceeded to get to work preparing the house to suction the vents. While one worked on the vents another worked on the dryer. Communication during the process was open and respectful. When they were done they cleaned up well and were thorough.

 Comments:
Overall it went fine. I spent more than what I had planned. But, then again I also had more done than was scheduled based on the recommendation.

 Comments:
it went well. they did leave some debris (dirt) around the house. they did not rescrew all the vent covers on all the way when they were done. the vents are cleaner and there is more circulation

 Comments:
It was a fine experience. They did a good job. They came out in a timely manner and made sure to clean up after themselves. I originally paid them too much, and they called me and reimbursed the extra amount.

Why Should You Get Your Air Ducts Cleaned? Answer:  Because they get dirty!

15 Things to Demand from an Air Duct Cleaning Company

Do You SPECIALIZE in Air Duct Cleaning?

Watch out for, “ We specialize in a lot of things... carpet cleaning, chimney sweeping or heating and cooling!” What they really mean is - “No we don’t.”
Is the PRICE your quoting really the total price?

If you’re asked to count registers and cold-air returns a red flag should go up. “Whole House Duct Cleaning” can mean many different things. Don't choose a contractor based only on costs...check out our bait and switch page, We have flate rate pricing of $349.00- current coupon per system.

Do you use a Push/Pull Method as opposed to a inferior Rotary BrushMethod

A vacuum powerful enough to place ductwork under negative pressure per NADCA.

Our 5500 cfm machine  compared to their 300 cfm machine.

Will You seal my systems to create the needed negative pressure?

Negative Pressure cannot be created in a system without the system being sealed.

Are Ducts and Main Lines Cleaned with brushes?

This is critical to a thorough cleaning. There’s no amount of vacuum or blowing air that can deep- clean your system.
Do You Clean the Furnace or Heat Pump Cabinet Interior?

This is not included in most phone quotes and coupon specials. If this important step is not included in the service, demand to know... “Why Not?”
Do You Include New Service Panel Doors?

Some of our competitors claim, “We don’t cut into your system!” Our question then is, “How do get the dirt out?” Both the supply and return main lines must be accessed to clean the system. New service access panels complete the job.

Premium Air Duct Cleaning
Unlimited Supply Vents Ducts, Unlimited Return Vent Ducts, Main Return Lines, Main Supply Lines, Furnace Cabinet Cleaning, all Service Openings and Closings per System. (a system is considered a furnace and or heat pump)

Inspection

We inspect your system before work begins to determine accessibility with our two man certified crew, each system takes approximately two hours to three hours (4-5 man hours) to clean.

Protect Your Property

We make sure that our equipment is exhausted outside of your home ad will wear new shoe covers at your request and use drop clothes under our equipment.

The Supply and Return Networks are Zoned

The supply and return sides are separated so they can be cleaned independently.

The HVAC System is Placed Under Continuous Negative Pressure

An access hole is cut to connect the negative air machine, register covers are removed and then we plug the duct openings with foam register plugs which creates high velocity air movement within the supply ductwork to transport loosened dirt and contaminants out of the ductwork and into the vacuum's filtration/collection system.

Each Branch is Cleaned Separately

Starting with the branch farthest from the vacuum. The register and boot areas are vacuumed and blasted with compressed air to push any dirt or debris into the branch run.

Breaking Contaminants Loose

The branches are then cleaned by feeding a brush auger down each branch run to push dirt and debris forward into the main run.

The Main Duct Runs are then Cleaned.

The Agitation Devices are used to dislodge debris accumulated on surfaces. The loosened debris is pulled and/or pushed toward the negative air machine and captured in its filtration/collection system.

Return Side

Once the supply side of the system has been completely cleaned, the return duct system is cleaned using the same method.

Furnace Interior

The cleaning is completed with vacuuming and washing of the furnace cabinet, and changing the customer provided filter at this time the technician will also inspect the furnace coil, drain and pan cleanliness.

Sealing Up Your System

Once the entire cleaning process is completed, all access holes are completely closed and cover plates are installed over the access holes.  All foam blocks are removed and the register covers are reinstalled. Finally, we leave your home as we found it. There is no mess left for you to clean and everything is returned to its original location

Post Inspection Check List with See Snake Camera Inspection

After the process is completed the technician will perform a complete cleaning check list with you.
