Customer Reviews

We recently had our ducts cleaned by Duane and Greg.  They were very polite and eager to explain everything they were doing and answered any questions we had for them.  They were also very careful in the house so-as not to damage anything.  They worked very efficiently together and made sure that we were satisfied with the finished product.  When they were done they made a final inspection to make certain everything was complete.  When they left I was confident our ducts were clean.

Thank you for your excellent service!

Good Morning, I wanted to let you know what an excellent job that Dwayne and Andy did on Saturday.

They were both so knowledgeable, informative and very detailed. They are both a great excess to your company.

 I was very pleased.

Duane and Andy arrived to the house introduced themselves and went to work. They explained to me what they was going to do step by step which was very helpful for me to undertand the procedure. They was very polite, friendly, and very professional. After they finished the work they put everything back the way it was. I would use this company for my next cleaning and would also recommend others to also.

Well Done!

Our house with a single furnace and central A/C never had a duct cleaning in all its 37 years. In spite of using expensive filters and changing them every 6 months, we were suffering from constant dust and regular stuffy noses. We contacted Air Duct Pros after a bit of research. They didn't advertise the lowest price in their ads, but I liked that the ads were clear about the bottom line price with no hidden fees. There was no hesitation when I asked for local references. I called one in my neighborhood and got a positive review. Scheduling online was a breeze. The team showed up on time shortly after calling us from the road. They did a through job, showing us what they were doing all along the way. There was a significant amount of stuff in the ductwork! No short cuts were taken from what I could tell, and the price was exactly as quoted in the ad. The result has been no dust and no stuffy noses in the morning since the cleaning. I recommend these guys

The Air Duct Cleaning Professionals

Cleaning your ventilation system is one of the healthiest maintenance decisions you can make. Overtime, the walls of your furnace and air conditioning system become filled with particles of dust, allergens, and other debris. Some of these contaminants may cause allergic reactions others significantly decrease the efficiency of your heating or cooling system.

All Air Duct Cleaning Companies are NOT the Same!

10 Things to Demand from an Air Duct Cleaning Company

1. Do You SPECIALIZE in Air Duct Cleaning?

Watch out for, “ We specialize in a lot of things... carpet cleaning, chimney sweeping or heating and cooling!” What they really mean is - “No we don’t.”,

6. Are Ducts and Main Lines Cleaned with brushes?

This is critical to a thorough cleaning. There’s no amount of vacuum or blowing air that can deep- clean your system.

2. NADCA Certified Technicians

We will provide you with a highly qualified, NADCA certified crew to clean your air ducts. Our air duct cleaning specialists are up to date with all the latest processes and are equipped with the most effective cleaning tools in the industry.View Our ProcessOur Process

7. Do You Clean the Furnace or Heat Pump Cabinet Interior?

This is not included in most phone quotes and coupon specials. If this important step is not included in the service, demand to know... “Why Not?”

3. Is the PRICE your quoting really the total price?

If you’re asked to count registers and cold-air returns a red flag should go up. These low prices are never what your final price will be! check out our bait and switch page,

8. Do You Include New Service Panel Doors?

Some of our competitors claim, “We don’t cut into your system!” Our question then is, “How do get the dirt out?” Both the supply and return main lines must be accessed to clean the system. New service access panels complete the job.

4.Are the workers FULL TIME EMPLOYEES of YOUR company?

Many service companies don’t hire employees or carry workmans comp insurance. They subcontract workers on an “as-needed” basis and they have no connection with the company you called.

9. Can I Talk to the Owner if I Have a Problem?

You’ll receive a survey request so you can convey directly to the owner of  Air Duct Pros, Inc. how you feel about the service you received. Every survey is read. Or call our office at 410-536-1273

10. Will You Provide Proof of $1,000,000 in Liability Insurance?

Demand proof that the company carries at least a $1,000,000 liability policy. This may seem remote, but what if a someone was hurt on your property by the uninsured equipment of your “bargain-priced” cleaner. It’s happened!

Air Duct Cleaning Process

NADCA Recommended Method

The most effective way to clean air ducts and ventilation systems is to employ Source Removal methods of cleaning. This requires a contractor to place the system under negative pressure, through the use of a specialized, powerful vacuum. While the vacuum draws air through the system, devices are inserted into the ducts to dislodge any debris that might be stuck to interior surfaces. The debris can then travel down the ducts to the vacuum, which removes it from the system and the home.

Step 1 - Inspection

We inspect your system before work begins to determine accessibility with our two man certified crew, each system takes approximately two hours to three hours (4-6 man hours) to clean.

Step 6 - The Main Duct Runs are Cleaned.

Each and every trunk and plenum are cleaned on both the supply (heat) and return (cold air) side of your system. Agitation Devices are used to dislodge debris accumulated on surfaces and remove any contaminants from the system.

Step 2 - Protect Your Property
Step 7 - Return Side

We make sure that our equipment is exhausted outside of your home and will wear new shoe covers at your request and use drop clothes under our equipment

Once the supply side of the system has been completely cleaned, the return duct system is cleaned using the same method.

Step 3 - The Supply & Returns are Zoned
Step 8 - Furnace Interior

The supply and return sides are separated so they can be cleaned independently.

The cleaning is completed with vacuuming and washing of the furnace cabinet, and changing the customer provided filter. The technician will inspect the coils for cleanliness at the time of inspection. View our price page for more info.*

Step 4 - The HVAC System is Placed
Under Continuous Negative Pressure

Step 9 - Sealing Up Your System

An access hole is cut to connect the negative air machine, register covers are removed and then we plug the duct openings with foam register plugs which creates high velocity air movement within the supply ductwork to transport loosened dirt and contaminants out of the ductwork and into the vacuum's filtration/collection system.

Once the entire cleaning process is completed, all access holes are completely closed and cover plates are installed over the access holes.  All foam blocks are removed and the register covers are reinstalled. Finally, we leave your home as we found it. There is no mess left for you to clean and everything is returned to its original location

Step 5 - Breaking Contaminants Loose

Step 10 - Post Inspection Check List

The branches are then cleaned by feeding a brush auger down each branch run to push dirt and debris forward into the main run.

After the process is completed the technician will make sure everything is cleaned and operating correctly.

*Please note: Cleaning the cooling coils is required by the NADCA Standard - Assessment, Cleaning & Restoration of HVAC Systems (ACR). However, some state regulations specify that only licensed HVAC mechanical contractors may clean cooling coils. .
*Air Duct Pros, Inc. does not remove the fan and/or coil in the cleaning process in accordance with our state laws.
